Problems Caused By Birds

Feral Pigeons
The Feral Pigeon is descended from a domesticated strain of the Rock Dove, with the wild breeding population being supplemented by escapes from pigeon lofts and racing pigeons. They have adapted extremely well to life in an urban environment.
Feral Pigeons build their nests in or on buildings and other structures, where they are usually found on ledges or in hollows - often under eaves or on girders. Large numbers of nests are often found under bridges and in derelict buildings. Lofts and commercial premises, where birds have gained access via gaps in the roof, are also common breeding sites.
